The start of the Cedar Street project was 2 derelict properties that an investor saw as an opportunity. With great central location to their downtown and nearby shopping and services, the idea developed into one commercial rental building and one residential townhouse building with 2 rental units.

The buildings were set to primarily occupy the original footprints of the existing buildings, continuing the residential neighborhood fabric while allowing the townhouse units great views to the harbor across the street. Shed roof geometries were used to also mimic the nearby simple industrial building geometries, while keeping all rain and snow run off to the respective back of the buildings.
